Your voyage of discovery begins in the Gordon River Cruises dockside terminal. Where Macquarie Harbour opens to the sea at Hell's Gate you'll pass through the narrow passage that has claimed many ships and seafarers in the past. Marvel at the Training Wall, a masterpiece of 19 th century engineering that has bade the passage safe today.
After your journey to the edge of the Southern Ocean you will visit fish farms where prized Atlantic Salmon and Ocean Trout are grown for local and export markets. One of the memorable features of the cruise includes going ashore on Sarah Island , where you'll walk among the ruins and hear your accredited nature guide bring the past alive with astonishing stories of the days when convicts built amazing ships from Huon pine.
A the southern end of the Harbour, the wide mouth of the Gordon River opens to quiet river reaches, where ancient Huon pines and forests are perfectly reflected in the dark, mirror calm waters. Upstream, step ashore and walk through the rainforest at Heritage Landing.

You are also able to move freely about the Lady Jane, take in some of the cleanest air in the world from the open decks and return to your seat any time. You can select from four seating styles - bow atrium, window recliner and club lounge. All are forward facing spacious and comfortable. Wherever you sit, Lady Jane's floor - to- ceiling windows give you superb views of rainforest and river, mountains and harbour.

- Captains Premier Upper Deck: Just 40 leather trimmed wide recliner seats with extra legroom, superbly situated in the wheelhouse on the upper deck. Chat with the captain and enjoy the magnificent 360-degree wilderness views. Ticket price includes sumptuous buffet meal with smoked salmon, Tasmanian wine, Tasmanian beer, tea and coffee.
- Window Recliners: Maximum two abreast comfortable reclining seats on the main deck, right next to the windows. You can almost touch the wilderness through the floor to ceiling glass. Ticket price includes sumptuous buffet meal.
- Atrium: Located on the Main Deck, the Atrium seating offers a wonderful panoramic view of the wilderness. Ticket price includes sumptuous buffet meal.
